Connect your WooCommerce store

Here’s the part that surprises most people: you don’t rebuild your shop inside Sigmira. Your products, prices, stock and variations stay exactly where they are in WooCommerce, and Sigmira simply adds personalisation on top of the ones you choose. That means no duplicate catalogue to keep in sync and nothing to migrate: just a switch you flip on the products you want to make customisable. This page shows the two ways to flip it, and what does (and doesn’t) change once you do.

You keep your existing products

This is the part that surprises most people: you don’t recreate your shop inside Sigmira. Your products, prices, stock and variations stay in WooCommerce exactly as they are. Sigmira sits on top and adds personalisation to the products you choose.

That means:

  • No duplicate catalogue to keep in sync.
  • Your prices stay yours. Customisation can add a fee on top (see How customisation pricing works), but your base product price is unchanged.
  • Switching customisation off simply removes the personalise option; the product itself is untouched.

Two ways to make a product customisable

From the Sigmira Dashboard (recommended):

  1. Open the Sigmira Dashboard and go to Products.
  2. Click + Add customizable product.
  3. In the Add a customizable product window, search your store and pick the product you want. (Products you’ve already set up show an Already configured badge.)

From WooCommerce:

  1. Edit the product in WooCommerce as usual.
  2. Tick Enable customization.

Either route links the product to Sigmira so you can set up its design area.

What about variations?

If your product has variations (for example different colours or sizes), Sigmira recognises them. You can give each variation its own mockup or design later, but you don’t have to. A plain product works just as well.
