What is Sigmira?

There’s a reason "make it yours" has become one of retail’s most dependable upsells: people pay more for something they had a hand in creating, and send it back far less often. Sigmira brings that to your WooCommerce store. Your customers add their own names, photos, monograms or artwork right on the product page (seeing exactly how it’ll look before they buy), and you get a clean, print-ready file for every order, with no proof emails or guesswork at the printer. This page is the quick tour of what you can build and how the pieces fit together.

What you can build

Sigmira turns an ordinary WooCommerce product into something a customer can make their own before they buy. Typical uses:

  • Apparel — custom t-shirts, hoodies and tote bags
  • Drinkware & homeware — mugs, water bottles, cushions
  • Print & signage — business cards, posters, name signs, stickers
  • Gifts — anything where a name, photo or message makes it personal

You decide exactly what customers can change and where they can change it. Everything else about the product stays locked.

How the pieces fit together

There are three parts, and they work together automatically:

  1. The plugin in your store. A WooCommerce plugin you install once. It adds a Customize This Product button to the products you choose.
  2. The editor your customers use. When a customer clicks that button, Sigmira opens a design editor where they add their text and images. This runs on Sigmira’s servers, so it stays fast and never slows your shop down.
  3. Print-ready files for you. When the order comes in, Sigmira generates a high-resolution file of exactly what the customer designed, ready to send to your printer or production team. You’ll find it in Orders.

Where you’ll work

Your day-to-day setup happens in two connected places:

  • WordPress admin — where you install the plugin and activate your licence (the Sigmira menu).
  • The Sigmira Dashboard — a web app where you set up customisable products, manage templates, see orders and download print files. You reach it from the WordPress menu; we’ll cover it in Your dashboard at a glance.

What you need to get started

  • A working WooCommerce store (WordPress + WooCommerce already set up).
  • A Sigmira plan, which gives you a licence key to connect the plugin.
  • A few minutes to install the plugin and switch on customisation for your first product.
