Download print-ready files
This is the payoff at the end of every order: a high-resolution file of the customer’s design, ready to hand to your printer or production team. Sigmira builds it from the exact print area you set up, cropped and sized correctly, so there’s no manual rescaling or guesswork at your end. Most of the time it’s a single click; when a job needs something specific, like a different format or a higher resolution, you can override the defaults right here. This page covers generating files, choosing their settings, and where they all collect.
Generate and download
Open an order and find the Production files section:
- If a file already exists, click Download to save it.
- If not, click Generate. The button shows Generating… while it works, and you’ll see an Export queued message. The file is built on Sigmira’s servers and appears in a moment; large or complex designs take a little longer.
The section also shows the Latest export (its format and date) so you know what you’re downloading.
Choose format and resolution
To produce something other than the default, open Generate with different settings and pick:
- Format — PNG, JPG or PDF.
- Resolution — 72, 150, 300 or 600 DPI. Use 300 DPI or higher for print; 72 DPI is fine only for on-screen proofs.
The defaults come from the product’s print method (shown as something like [method] default: PNG @ 300 DPI), so most of the time you can just click Generate and trust the settings.
Where all your files live
Every file you generate also collects in Exports (Print-ready files generated for fulfilment), a single list across all orders, handy for batching a production run.
If a file looks wrong
- Out of date? See the Re-export needed notice on the order and regenerate, covered in View customer designs.
- Blurry? The customer’s image was likely too low-resolution; the print area’s Minimum DPI warning is what prevents this up front (see Add print areas).
