View customer designs on an order

When an order comes in, this is where you meet it. Every purchase that includes a customised product lands in Orders with the customer’s exact design attached: no chasing them for what they wanted, no rebuilding it from notes. From here you review what they made, flick between items on multi-product orders, and, if a typo or a stray element needs fixing, tidy it up before anything reaches the printer. It’s the difference between confidently fulfilling an order and hoping you got it right.

Find an order

Orders lists customer designs from completed orders. The list shows:

  • Columns: Order, Customer, Status, Exports, Placed.
  • Filter chips: All, Unpaid, Open, Fulfilled, Cancelled.
  • A search box: Search by order ID, customer, email, or product….

The Status badge mirrors the WooCommerce order state (Unpaid, Open, Fulfilled, Cancelled, Refunded), so you can work the Open ones first.

Review a design

Click an order to open it. You’ll see the customer’s design exactly as they made it.

  • Multiple items? A switcher labelled Items in this order lets you move between each customised item (shown as Item 1, Item 2, …).
  • Multiple views? You can step through each view (front, back, …) of an item.

This is what will be printed, so it’s worth a quick look before you produce the file.

Edit a design (if you must)

Sometimes you need to tweak what the customer submitted: fix a typo, nudge an element. From the order:

  1. Click Edit design. The design opens in the editor.
  2. Make your change.
  3. Click Save & re-export to save and regenerate the print file (or Discard to cancel).

To undo your edits and go back to exactly what the customer submitted, use Revert to customer’s original.

"Re-export needed"

If a design changed after its print file was made, the order shows a Re-export needed notice. Click Re-export (or open the design and Save & re-export) to refresh the file so production gets the current version.
